We're super excited to launch the Loog Certified Educator Program - a 100% online program designed for educators looking into teaching kids Loog Guitar.
Since lockdown hit back in March, we started offering free guitar group lessons online, as a way to learn and connect. It's been our favorite thing we ever did at Loog: hundreds of kids playing, learning and jamming together... and giving their parents a well-deserved break :)
Introducing TWO new Loog Summer Camps for July - both are still pay-what-you-can, both are still two weeks, and proceeds from both will still go to camp instructors to help support them during these crazy times. AND - you don’t even need a Loog Guitar for one of them (so go tell a friend!).
Weekend 2 of Loog Fest opened with music producer, songwriter, researcher and audio preservation engineer Rebecca Feynberg, who gave us a taste of the science behind electronic music. Sunday was a dream come true as we actually got to interview the amazing Darrly Jones, bass player to the Rolling Stones, who's worked with Miles Davis, Sting, Madonna... and even designs his own line of musical instruments. Relive everything here!
Our first Loog Fest opening weekend happened and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how our first two acts represented the festival’s purpose. And don’t be bummed if you missed it this weekend or if it went by too quickly: of course we have video highlights to relive and share!
