Weekend 2 of Loog Fest opened with music producer, songwriter, researcher and audio preservation engineer Rebecca Feynberg, who gave us a taste of the science behind electronic music. Sunday was a dream come true as we actually got to interview the amazing Darrly Jones, bass player to the Rolling Stones, who's worked with Miles Davis, Sting, Madonna... and even designs his own line of musical instruments. Relive everything here!
Our first Loog Fest opening weekend happened and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how our first two acts represented the festival’s purpose. And don’t be bummed if you missed it this weekend or if it went by too quickly: of course we have video highlights to relive and share!
We’re thrilled to launch Loog Fest today, the first (we think!) online festival for kids and families, broadcast live from Loog Guitars’ instagram account. Ready for a new reason to love weekends? We wanted to do something. We wanted to bring you something. We wanted to offer a platform for artists to work these days. And we wanted to create something that families can enjoy at home, together, for free.
Looking to bring your younger kids into the family band? Kidding Around got your back! In this new section we’ve named “Loog Friends Recommend”, our fave stores that carry the Loog Guitar recommend other musical toys and playthings to entertain young ‘uns and start tickling their musical fancy.
What’s cooler than seeing 179 other kids -just like you- learning to play guitar, at the same time? We think not much. Last Saturday was pretty much a milestone in Loog history: the first-ever online Loog group lesson for kids under 8, hosted by the amazing guys at Lessonface.com. And it rocked!
